Is homemade food on Tummy & Mummy safe to eat?

Yes. Every producer completes identity verification and must hold a valid FSSAI food safety licence. We validate each licence against the government database before any product goes live.

What does "FSSAI Verified" mean on a product?

It means we collected the producer's FSSAI licence or registration number and confirmed it is valid on the official FOSCOS portal (fssai.gov.in).

Do you test the food in a lab?

We are rolling out third-party lab testing for select products. When tested, you'll see the "Product Tested" badge with details.

How is this different from other homemade food platforms?

Most platforms rely on self-declaration. T&M Verified independently validates each claim — identity, FSSAI certification, lab results.

Can I see verification details for a specific product?

Yes. On every product page, tap the blue "T&M Verified" badge to see which steps that product's maker has completed.

What if a producer's FSSAI licence expires?

We track expiry dates. If a licence lapses, products are paused until reinstated.
